Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks a General Superintendent – Power to lead field operations on natural gas and thermal power projects. You will drive safety, schedule, and budget execution, coordinating with owners, OEMs, and engineering teams to ensure successful turnover and startup.

You will mentor field teams, oversee complex equipment installation, and enforce QA/QC and safety protocols across multiple sites in a demanding market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 12+ years construction experience with 10+ years field supervision.
• Experience leading power generation projects preferred.
• Knowledge of lean principles and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and ensure an injury-free environment on site.
• Provide field leadership across multiple projects and teams.
• Develop plans, schedules, and budgets; manage changes and QA/QC.
• Coordinate with owners, design teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Oversee installation of major power-plant systems and commissioning.
