Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a General Superintendent – Power to lead field operations on natural gas and thermal power projects. You will drive safety, quality, and efficiency across all construction phases, coordinating with owners, OEMs, and engineering teams.

Your experience in large power facilities will guide scheduling, budgeting, and complex installations. You will mentor field teams, oversee commissioning support, and promote Lean practices while ensuring compliance with safety

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field.
12+ years of construction experience.
10+ years of field supervision experience.
Experience leading Lean principles on projects (preferred).
Proven track record managing major power generation projects.

Responsibilities

Lead all aspects of safety culture and ensure an injury-free environment.
Oversee field operations, sequencing, and coordination with owners, design teams, and subcontractors.
Manage budgets, scheduling, and procurement processes for power facilities.
Coordinate startup and commissioning activities with engineering partners and OEMs.
Recruit and develop field personnel and promote diversity and inclusion.
