Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a General Superintendent – Power to provide field leadership and operational oversight for natural gas and thermal power generation projects. You will develop and execute project plans, direct field operations, manage subcontractors, and coordinate site activities to meet schedule, budget, and performance goals.

You will mentor field teams, collaborate with OEMs and engineering partners, and drive safety, QA/QC and commissioning activities across multiple power

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 12+ years of construction experience.
• 10+ years of field supervision experience.
• Experience coordinating startup and commissioning activities for complex systems.
• Experience applying Lean principles on large projects.

Responsibilities

• Leads all aspects of the project’s safety culture and injury‑free goals.
• Directs field operations, manages subcontractors and material needs.
• Maintains QA/QC processes and ensures compliance with specs.
• Coordinates with owners, design teams and authorities.
• Plans project sequencing and staffing, monitors schedule and cost changes.
