Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks a General Superintendent – Power to lead field operations on major natural gas and thermal power projects. You will drive safety, scheduling, and quality across multiple complex sites, coordinating with owners, OEMs and engineering partners to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires deep power-generation knowledge, extensive field leadership experience, and a proven track record of managing large-scale installations and commissioning activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 12+ years construction experience.
• 10+ years field supervision experience.
• Experience leading Lean principles on projects.
• Experience coordinating startup and commissioning activities for complex systems.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and ensure injury-free environment.
• Oversee field operations and subcontractors.
• Ensure project schedule, budget, and quality targets.
• Coordinate with owners, design teams, and authorities.
• Manage procurement and field staffing.
• Collaborate with commissioning teams for turnover.
