Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks a General Superintendent – Power to provide field leadership for natural gas and thermal power generation projects. You will develop and execute project plans, direct field operations, manage subcontractors, and coordinate site activities to meet schedule, budget, and performance goals.

You will mentor field teams, engage with trade partners, OEMs, and engineering partners to ensure safe, compliant delivery and seamless turnover during complex power installations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• 12+ years construction experience.
• 10+ years field supervision experience.
• Experience leading Lean principles on projects (preferred).
• Proven track record managing major power generation projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of field safety culture and set expectations.
• Direct field operations, coordinate with owners, design teams, and subcontractors.
• Oversee procurement, formwork, and equipment selections for self-perform work.
• Manage project sequencing, schedules, costs, and staffing.
• Coordinate startup, commissioning, and turnover with partners.
