Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a General Superintendent – Power to lead field operations on natural gas and thermal power generation projects. You will drive safety, schedule, and budget performance, direct subcontractors, and coordinate with owners, OEMs, and engineers to ensure high‑quality, on‑time delivery across multiple sites.

As a senior field leader, you will mentor teams, apply power‑sector construction knowledge, and ensure strict QA/QC, safety, and commissioning standards are met

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field (Preferred).
• 12+ years construction experience.
• 10+ years field supervision experience.
• Experience leading Lean principles on projects (Preferred).
• Proven track record managing major power generation projects from pursuit through closeout (preferred).
• Experience coordinating startup and commissioning activities for complex mechanical/electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Leads all aspects of safety culture and mentors staff to ensure an injury‑free environment.
• Directs field operations, sequence development, and coordination with owners, design teams, and subcontractors.
• Oversees QA/QC processes, compliance with specifications, and documentation.
• Manages project budgets, costs, and procurement processes.
• Coordinates startup, commissioning activities, and turnover packages with clients and partners.
• Leads field staffing, procurement approvals, and project reviews.
