Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks a General Superintendent – Power to provide field leadership for natural gas and thermal power projects. You will direct field operations, manage subcontractors, and coordinate site activities to achieve schedule, budget, and performance goals across all project phases.

You will mentor teams, apply deep power-generation knowledge, and ensure rigorous QA/QC and safety standards while collaborating with clients, OEMs and engineering partners for successful project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 12+ years construction experience.
• 10+ years field supervision experience.
• Experience leading Lean principles on projects (preferred).
• Proven track record managing major power generation projects (preferred).
• Experience coordinating startup and commissioning activities for complex systems.
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Leads all safety culture on projects and mentors staff in safety practices.
• Manages project plans, sequencing and field operations to meet schedule and budget.
• Directs subcontractors and coordinates site activities with engineering and commissioning teams.
• Ensures QA/QC and safety compliance across power facilities.
• Maintains turnover packages and facilitates startup and testing activities.
• Collaborates with OEMs and architects to resolve field issues and ensure performance requirements.
• Leads field staffing and recruitment for assigned projects.
