Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a General Superintendent – Power to provide field leadership and operational oversight on natural gas and thermal power generation projects. You will develop project plans, direct field operations, manage subcontractors and coordinate site activities to achieve schedule, budget, and quality goals.

You will mentor field teams, maintain client and partner relationships, and drive safety, QA/QC, and commissioning activities across multiple industrial projects.

Qualifications

• Lean process and safety leadership experience.
• Leadership and budgeting skills for large projects.
• Understanding of multi‑contractor field operations and scheduling.
• Experience coordinating startup and commissioning activities for complex mechanical/electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Leads all aspects of the company’s safety culture and mentors staff.
• Communicates project information to owners, design team and authorities.
• Oversees installation of major power‑plant systems and coordinates with commissioning teams.
• Manages field operations, subcontractors, and field staffing for assigned projects.
