Job summary

HDR is seeking an experienced Program Manager - Power to lead a multi‑year, multi‑million dollar infrastructure program in the New York/New Jersey area. You will guide engineering, scheduling, cost control, and construction delivery, coordinating HDR and subconsultant teams to meet client expectations.

You will mentor staff, manage risk, and advance HDR’s program management growth while maintaining a strong client relationship and ensuring quality deliverables across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Planning, Sciences, Business Administration, or closely related field.
• 3+ years of program/management experience in a deputy role or 5+ years as PM/CM for large programs.
• Strong leadership and communication; comfortable presenting to executives.
• Experience with alternative delivery methods (DB/PDB/CMAR) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead large multidisciplinary infrastructure program with high technical complexity.
• Direct and monitor program execution, governance, and business processes.
• Oversee HDR and subconsultant teams; ensure contract compliance and QA/QC.
• Identify risks/issues and drive resolution and mitigation.
• Develop tools to drive efficiencies and accountability.
• Mentor and train staff while delivering the program.
