Job summary

HDR is seeking a Power Program Manager to lead planning and execution of power infrastructure programs. You will guide a diverse team of engineers and non-technical professionals, serving as a trusted advisor to client leadership and ensuring governance and alignment with contract scope.

The role requires coordinating with HDR staff and subconsultants, delivering on schedule and budget, and promoting a transparent, accountable program culture. Travel ~25% is expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Planning, Sciences, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or closely related field.
  • Experience with PMIS such as E-Builder, ProCore, Kahua, Oracle Primavera or similar.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to present to executives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver power projects for clients.
  • Serve as primary client contact for scope, contracts, performance, work planning and staffing.
  • Advise clients on technical, regulatory, planning and delivery strategies.
  • Direct and manage HDR staff and subconsultants across large programs.
  • Prepare monthly program reports and dashboards to show health and progress.
  • Travel on average 25% of the time.
