Job summary

HDR is seeking a Power Program Manager to lead the planning and execution of power infrastructure programs. You will guide a multidisciplinary team of engineers, planners and specialists, serving as a trusted advisor to the client's leadership and providing governance, risk management and staffing oversight across complex projects.

You will collaborate with HDR's internal teams to ensure successful delivery, maintain project controls, and drive efficiencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Planning, Sciences, Business Administration, or a closely related field
• Master’s degree preferred in Engineering, Construction Management or Business Administration
• Experience leading large power infrastructure programs and managing multi-disciplinary teams
• Strong communication skills; ability to present to client executives and large audiences
• Experience using PMIS tools (E-Builder, Procore, Kahua, Primavera) and related project controls

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver T&D, power generation, renewable energy projects defined by clients
• Serve as primary client contact for scope, contract management, program performance and staffing
• Advise clients on technical, regulatory, strategic planning and delivery of power programs
• Direct and manage HDR staff and subconsultants across project phases
• Develop program management plans, processes and tools to improve efficiency and accountability
• Monitor scope, schedule and budget; prepare monthly program reports and dashboards
• Collaborate with business development to identify growth opportunities
• Travel approximately 25% of the time
