Job summary

HDR is seeking a Power Program Manager to lead the planning and execution of large-scale power infrastructure programs. You will guide multidisciplinary teams including engineering, project controls, environmental and real estate, serving as a trusted advisor to the client’s leadership team.

This role emphasizes clear communication, risk management, and governance, with travel around 25% and a focus on delivering value through efficient processes and contract compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required for program management roles in engineering/construction
• Master’s degree preferred for advanced program oversight and leadership
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and complex capital programs

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver power projects and programs.
• Serve as primary client contact for scope, contracts, performance, and staffing.
• Advise on technical, regulatory, and delivery strategies and risk management.
• Direct and manage HDR staff and subconsultants across engineering, controls, environmental, real estate, and communications groups.
• Develop program management plans, processes, and dashboards to drive accountability and transparency.
• Monitor scope, schedule and budget; adjust to meet pre-established metrics.
• Prepare monthly reports/dashboards for internal and client stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business development to identify growth opportunities and support proposals.
• Travel on average 25% of the time.
