Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks a General Superintendent – Power to lead field operations on natural gas and thermal power generation projects across the United States. You will direct project plans, supervise subcontractors, and ensure safe, high‑quality delivery through all construction phases.

The role requires deep knowledge of power generation construction, experience with large equipment installations, QA/QC processes, and strong leadership to mentor field teams and coordinate with OEMs,

Qualifications

• Extensive field leadership for power generation projects.
• Deep knowledge of power-sector construction and safety requirements.
• Lead multi-contractor, multi-shift field operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and ensure injury‑free operations with mentoring.
• Direct field operations, sequencing, and means/methods for project delivery.
• Coordinate with owners, design teams, and subcontractors; manage documentation.
• Oversee procurement, cost control, and procurement approvals.
• Manage field staffing and budget alignment with project changes.
• Coordinate turnkey turnover packages with commissioning teams.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field
