Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a General Superintendent – Power to provide field leadership and operational oversight for natural gas and thermal power generation projects. You will develop project plans, direct field operations, manage subcontractors, and coordinate site activities to ensure schedule, budget, and performance targets are met.

You will mentor teams, liaise with owners, OEMs, and engineering partners, and drive safety, quality, and efficiency across multiple power facilities.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of construction experience with leadership responsibility.
• 10+ years of field supervision experience.
• Experience leading Lean principles on projects (preferred).
• Proven track record managing major power generation projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and ensure an injury-free environment; mentor staff.
• Coordinate with owners, design teams, subs, and authorities on project information.
• Oversee scheduling, QA/QC, and field operations to meet budget and timelines.
• Manage formwork, tools, equipment, and subcontractor coordination for self-perform work.
• Drive project turnover, commissioning coordination, and client relations.
