Job summary
Amazon is seeking an experienced Power & Hardware Design Engineer to set standards for power distribution and hardware within its OneMHS program. Qualifications
- Requires Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
- 4+ years in power systems design and hardware development for large-scale material handling systems.
- Proven experience with 3-phase power systems and NFPA 70E/IEEE 1584 arc flash analyses.
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize power distribution for material handling systems.
- Develop MDBs, PDPs, and substation layouts with proper sizing and protection.
- Perform arc flash studies and labeling per NFPA 70E and IEEE 1584.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for integrated designs and specifications.
- Drive standardization and technical mentorship within the OneMHS program.
