Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Senior Power Delivery Project Manager to lead large-scale utility infrastructure programs, including transmission, distribution, and substations. Based in the Richmond region with remote flexibility, the role emphasizes schedule, cost control, and technical excellence.

You will coordinate cross-disciplinary teams, drive QA/QC, manage client communications, and mentor staff while traveling as needed to client sites and offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; 12+ years in project management leadership.
• Experience across Power Delivery, transmission, distribution, substation projects.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and financial acumen for project controls.

Responsibilities

• Provide PM leadership for large-scale utility infrastructure projects (transmission, distribution, substation).
• Develop and execute stakeholder engagement strategies for clients, leadership, and regulators.
• Support pursuit, startup, contract reviews, pricing strategies, and risk mitigation.
• Lead technical and commercial discussions, reviews, and execution meetings with IOUs, IPPs, Co-ops, and public power clients.
• Mentor project managers and engineers; manage staff performance and safety standards.
• Ensure governance with Risk Registers, PM Plans, Quality Plans, and closeout activities.
