Job summary
WSP is seeking a Senior Power Delivery Project Manager to lead technical, administrative, and commercial aspects of power delivery projects including transmission, distribution, and substations. The role encompasses proposal development, startup, engineering coordination, procurement, construction, scheduling, budgeting, reporting, and closeout.
This position is based out of Richmond, VA with flexible remote work within the region. Travel to client sites and offices is required as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide project management leadership across the full lifecycle for Power Delivery projects.
- Develop and execute stakeholder engagement and communication strategies with utility clients and regulators.
- Lead and mentor project managers, engineers, and staff to achieve delivery objectives.
- Maintain governance for PM systems and documentation (PMP, QP, PSP, Risk Registers).
- Support business development and contract negotiations, risk assessment, and recovery actions.
