Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Senior Power Delivery Project Manager to provide technical, administrative, and commercial leadership for large-scale power delivery initiatives, including transmission, distribution, and substation projects. You will guide projects from proposal through closeout within a defined region, collaborating with utility clients, engineers, and contractors.

The role requires deep expertise in project controls, risk management, and governance, with strong communication and mentoring

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field and 15+ years in project management for power delivery.

Proven ability to manage large, multi-disciplinary utility projects from proposal to closeout.

Responsibilities

Provide Power Delivery project management leadership for large-scale utility infrastructure projects across transmission, distribution, and substation scopes.
Develop and oversee budgets, forecasts, KPIs, earned value, and schedule adherence while ensuring contractual compliance.
Lead stakeholder engagement, reporting, risk assessment, and mitigation to support client objectives.
Coach project managers and engineers; oversee staffing, QA/QC, and safety standards.
Coordinate with IOUs, IPPs, cooperatives, and public power clients during negotiations and execution.
Maintain governance updates and formal project closeout activities, including financial closeout and lessons learned.
