Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Senior Power Delivery Project Manager to lead technical, administrative, and commercial management across transmission, distribution and substation initiatives. You will guide proposals, planning, procurement, construction, and closeout within a defined region, ensuring governance and value delivery.

The role emphasizes stakeholder engagement, risk management, QA/QC adherence, and mentorship of junior staff, with readiness to travel to client sites and offices as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years in project management or senior technical leadership in power delivery.
• Strong understanding of project delivery lifecycle within utility/power sectors.
• Ability to lead cross-disciplinary teams and manage complex portfolios.
• Proven written and verbal communication with executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for large-scale power delivery projects including transmission, distribution, and substation work.
• Oversee proposal development, planning, procurement, construction, and closeout per PM standards.
• Manage budgets, schedules, risk, and quality to ensure client satisfaction and governance compliance.
• Mentor project managers and engineers, supporting career development.
• Engage with IOUs, IPPs, cooperatives, and public power clients in negotiations and reviews.
