Job summary

WSP USA seeks a Senior Power Delivery Project Manager to lead technical, administrative, and commercial aspects of large power delivery projects, spanning transmission, distribution, and substation initiatives.

The role is based in Richmond, VA, with remote work flexibility within the region. Travel to client offices is required. You will manage full project lifecycles, engage stakeholders, and drive delivery excellence in a regulated energy environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 12+ years of post-education experience in project management or senior technical leadership, preferably in power delivery.
• Strong understanding of project delivery lifecycle in energy/infrastructure sectors.
• Experience in proposal development, planning, procurement, construction, and closeout.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for power delivery projects across transmission, distribution, and substation scopes.
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and KPIs; monitor risks and ensure contractual compliance.
• Lead and participate in client meetings, scope alignment, and project execution reviews.
• Mentor project managers, engineers, and staff; drive QA/QC and safety standards.
• Maintain governance and documentation across PM systems and reports.
