Job summary

JE Dunn Construction’s Advanced Facilities Group seeks a General Superintendent – Power to lead field operations on natural gas and thermal power generation projects. You will oversee planning, sequencing, subcontractors, and safety, ensuring schedule, budget, and performance goals are met across all construction phases.

Role requires deep power-generation knowledge, large-equipment installation experience, and collaboration with OEMs and engineering partners to ensure quality and warranty

Qualifications

• Lean process and philosophy knowledge (intermediate).
• Knowledge of self-perform and labor productivity (advanced).
• Ability to manage budgets, maximize profitability and generate future work.
• Strong leadership and field operations coordination.
• Experience leading multi-contractor and multi-shift operations on schedule-critical sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and ensure injury-free environment.
• Coordinate with owners, design team, and subcontractors; maintain project docs.
• Oversee field operations, sequencing, and complex power facilities installation.
• Manage staffing, procurement processes, and change negotiations.
• Support startup, commissioning and turnover with engineering partners.
