Job summary

FactSet is seeking a Principal Implementation Specialist to lead client implementations of our Analytics and Performance solutions. You will partner with the regional Implementation manager to standardize practices and drive successful deployments across multiple markets.

You will develop project plans, define scope, and provide technical guidance to clients and internal teams. Travel is required and deep knowledge of FactSet tools is essential for guiding complex integrations.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience with FactSet’s Analytics tools.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Understanding of how clients use FactSet Analytics and Performance Solutions products (PA, SPAR, Portfolio Vault & Insight, Analytics APIs).
• Excellent technical background.
• Proven ability to write complex screening codes.
• Certifications preferred (CFA, CIPM, CAPM, FRM, MBA).
• Extremely detail-oriented with big-picture view.
• Keen initiative and ownership.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Produce client-facing communication with the implementation project manager.
• Build and manage implementation scope and effort estimates; collaborate on project plans.
• Provide product guidance on solutions based on customer needs.
• Create user workflow specifications and direct technical staff on client requirements.
• Develop understanding of technical aspects of the Analytics suite.
• Implement new and enhance deployments to improve user experience and sales opportunities.
• Communicate with sophisticated users about investment principles.
• Identify growth opportunities by mapping client structures during implementation.
• Share trends and areas for improvement.
• Study client workflows and collaborate with Product Development and Engineering to enhance FactSet products.
• Provide user training and support development of training programs.
• Facilitate transition from implementation to support.
