Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Project Manager focused on MEP building automation controls. You will lead office infrastructure projects with a strong emphasis on BMS automation, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and ensuring delivery from initiation to closeout.

The role involves regional travel and a hybrid onsite work arrangement. You will collaborate with clients, manage budgets, schedules, and risk, and mentor junior project managers while aligning with corporate policies and SOX

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience.
• Owner’s Representative experience for Class A financial or professional services client and infrastructure/MEP experience required. Strong knowledge of BMS controls, building automation, and smart buildings desired.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Knowledge of PM Web or similar project management software.
• Solid track record of working with senior leadership in a strategic capacity and the ability to lead delivery resources projects is required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment while leading multiple projects and/or programs in varying stages.

Responsibilities

• Manage all areas of project management for multiple real estate projects including planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
• Work directly with clients to prepare scope of work, resource requirements, cost estimates, budgets, and schedules.
• Provide project reporting to Project Management Director and leaders.
• Coach other Project Managers to develop expertise across the function.
• Define delivery resources and conduct RFPs, bid evaluations, and resource recommendations.
• Ensure schedule adherence and resolve issues; escalate as needed.
• Lead regular project status meetings for active and pending projects.
• Collaborate to develop solutions and guide the team through implementation and completion.
• Apply advanced knowledge to develop better methods for department objectives.
• Showcase expertise and contribute to broader organizational goals.
• Influence multi-discipline teams to meet customer and operational objectives.
