Job summary

Fuze Health is seeking a Principal Engineer to shape technical vision across engineering teams, driving the architecture for B2B and consumer platforms. You will mentor engineers, lead design reviews, and ensure secure, scalable systems using AWS, PostgreSQL, Ruby on Rails, Python, and TypeScript/JavaScript.

Bring 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, with a focus on distributed, high-throughput architectures in regulated health tech.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on software engineering and systems design.
• Experience building high-throughput, distributed B2B SaaS systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, SE, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Willingness to serve as Tier 1 escalation point for critical outages.

Responsibilities

• Define target architecture for core platforms and APIs.
• Lead design reviews, mentoring staff and engineers.
• Ensure security, HIPAA, SOC2 compliance alignment.
• Collaborate with Product, Pharmacy Ops, and Mgmt to align goals.
• Improve performance and reliability in PostgreSQL/AWS stack.
