Job summary

Fuze Health Inc. is seeking a Principal Engineer to define and drive the technical vision across our engineering organization.

You will guide architecture for high-volume, mission-critical B2B/consumer platforms built on AWS, PostgreSQL, Ruby on Rails, Python, and TypeScript/JavaScript. You will mentor staff engineers, establish engineering standards, and collaborate with Product, Pharmacy Operations, and InfoSec to ensure HIPAA/SOC2 compliance and secure, scalable systems.

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive software engineering and systems design.
Experience building high-throughput, highly available B2B SaaS or transactional systems.
Deep domain expertise in HealthTech or regulated environments; familiarity with HL7, FHIR, NCPDP.

Responsibilities

Define and evolve the target architecture for FuzeRx's core B2B and consumer platforms.
Lead the design and implementation of technically challenging initiatives, such as high-volume API integrations and complex fulfillment logistics.
Mentor Staff, Senior, and Mid-level engineers; elevate engineering culture with rigorous reviews and knowledge sharing.
Establish and enforce engineering standards across coding, testing, CI/CD, and security-by-design.
Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering Managers, and Pharmacy Operations to align architectures with business and clinical goals.
Partner with InfoSec to ensure HIPAA/SOC2 compliance and data privacy.
