Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in Fresno, CA is seeking a Senior Plastic Surgery Sales Representative to support surgeons in the Fresno territory, expanding Mentor product adoption and competing effectively for new accounts.

You will demonstrate proper surgical use, build relationships with physicians, meet quotas, and coordinate with cross-functional teams while following company guidelines and training. This role offers sales incentives in addition to base pay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4-6 years total work experience.
• Surgical sales experience preferred.
• Experience selling to surgeons in an operating room environment and/or experience calling on plastic surgeons is preferred.
• Knowledge of clinical, surgical techniques and procedures, and medical terminology preferred.
• Typically oversees $1.5M to $3.5M in annual sales YOY, demonstrating sustained performance 3 out of 4 years.
• Minimum of 4 years of outside sales experience.
• 4+ years of sales experience with documented history of 2+ years sales success in a medical device sales environment is preferred.
• Aesthetics sales experience and experience calling on plastic surgeons is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates proper surgical use of our products to physicians.
• Handles customer product questions and objections in a way that is consistent with sales training methodology.
• Maintains and expands current accounts, builds new accounts, develops strong customer relationships, and meets sales quotas for our products.
• Executes the selling cycle in a manner that is concise, professional, ethical, and persuasive; and which leads the customer to action.
• Operates within defined budgetary limits.
• Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.
• For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable.
• Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Performs other duties assigned as needed.
• Builds relationships and holds customers accountable.
• Meets productivity goals across product portfolio.
• Manages and executes across multiple product call points including private practice, surgery centers, and hospitals.
