Job summary
Dow Inc. is seeking a Senior Production Engineer for our Knoxville, TN site. You will optimize plant operations, drive safe and cost-effective production, and coordinate with Supply Chain to meet business goals.
The role requires broad technical knowledge and leadership during unplanned events. You will monitor KPIs, support continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with operating permits. A bachelor's in engineering and 3+ years of relevant experience are required, with US work
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering required; Chemical or mechanical preferred.
- 3+ years of relevant experience.
- U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship provided.
Responsibilities
- Translate business production needs into plant-level goals.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain for planning, shipping, and materials.
- Determine shutdown timing with Supply Chain and Operations teams.
- Coach personnel on KPI tracking and performance records.
- Lead troubleshooting with SMEs to improve plant performance.
- Ensure MET understanding and use of process automation.
