Job summary

Ash Grove Cement, a CRH Company, is seeking a Maintenance Superintendent to coordinate maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance for plant equipment. You will supervise a large maintenance team and drive reliability improvements while upholding MSHA safety standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in mechanical or electrical engineering with 7+ years of supervisory maintenance experience in a cement or related industry. Plant safety, budgeting, and vendor coordination are key aspects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 Year / Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in maintenance with supervisory responsibilities.
• Knowledge of MSHA safety regulations and industrial maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
• Establishes, communicates, and assigns job responsibilities, goals, and performance standards for employees within the Maintenance Department.
• Evaluates performance and recommend merit increases and promotions.
• Implements improvements to maintenance processes and coordinates projects.
• Oversees maintenance, repair, and preventive maintenance activities for the plant.
