Job summary

Ash Grove Cement, a CRH Company, seeks a Maintenance Manager to coordinate plant maintenance, supervise staff, and oversee budgets for major equipment at the cement facility in North America. This role emphasizes safety, reliability, and cost control while guiding capital projects and long-term planning.

Responsibilities include planning shutdowns, coordinating contractors, evaluating performance, and driving continuous improvements in plant reliability and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• 4 year/Bachelors Degree in engineering or related field is required. In lieu of degree/diploma equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in cement manufacturing facility with specific exposure to management responsibilities.
• Proficient in English written, verbal communication and listening skills.
• Knowledge of MSHA safety regulations.
• Knowledge of EPA environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and follows all plant safety guidelines.
• Establishes, communicates, and assigns job responsibilities, goals, and performance standards for employees within the Maintenance Department.
• Oversees all maintenance tasks and budgets for the plant.
• Develops and executes major shutdown schedules and post-shutdown critiques.
• Coordinates with maintenance contractors and suppliers for equipment and parts.
