Job summary

Ash Grove Cement is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician (Maintenance) to supervise the maintenance crew, coordinate preventive/predictive maintenance, and lead mechanical repair activities. The role emphasizes safety, technical guidance, and efficient work order management for plant reliability.

Key duties include coordinating daily maintenance, inspecting sites, updating records, and collaborating with purchasing and vendors.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED with a technical associate degree preferred.
• Experience supervising maintenance teams and coordinating plant maintenance work.
• Knowledge of plant equipment, safety practices, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and supervise maintenance crews and preventive/predictive work.
• Ensure safe work environment and compliance with safety guidelines.
• Coordinate daily maintenance activities and prepare work orders.
• Inspect sites for hazards and manage documentation of activities.
• Collaborate with Purchasing and vendors for parts and services.
• Assist in budgeting for maintenance and capital expenditures.
