Job summary

Ash Grove Cement Company is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair plant processes, systems and equipment in a fast-paced cement production environment.

You will lead safety initiatives, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems, and manage preventative maintenance with CMMS tools like Maximo. Strong teamwork and communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; training in relevant skill or trade.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety leadership in promoting a zero-injury safety culture.
• Solve practical mechanical/process problems in a fast-paced environment.
• Read and follow verbal, written, or diagram instructions.
• Communicate maintenance issues with shift supervisors and line support.
• Ensure preventative maintenance to maximize machine uptime.
• Generate and close work orders in Maximo or other CMMS.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
