Job summary

Ash Grove Cement, a CRH Company, is seeking a Plant Manager to oversee production operations, maintenance, safety, and quality programs at a major plant. The role requires leading a large staff and aligning production with forecasts, while ensuring regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has a 4-year engineering/related degree, 10+ years in cement or lime manufacturing, and strong leadership and safety prowess. PE preferred and relocation flexibility may apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 year Bachelor's Degree in engineering, chemistry, natural sciences, business administration, or closely related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) preferred
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a cement or lime manufacturing facility with plant management responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Promotes and follows all plant safety guidelines.
• Monitors, inspects, and reviews all plant activities.
• Ensures production schedule matches sales forecasts.
• Assists in investigating customer and quality problems.
• Meets with government agencies and community groups to ensure environmental compliance.
• Prepares regular reports on plant production operations.
• Attends RCRA training for waste-derived fuel activities.
