Job summary

Workday is seeking a Senior Solution Consultant – Planning to join our Planning Presales team, supporting large enterprise DI customers. You will be a planning SME, credible with CFOs and finance leadership, translating complex problems into compelling vision and solution stories.

You will use deep knowledge of planning, forecasting, and analytics to guide customers across FP&A, workforce, and operational planning, leading executive discovery and delivering high‑impact demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Significant presales/consulting/finance experience focused on planning, forecasting, or analytics.
• Ability to engage and present to executive audiences (VP/C-level).
• Hands-on experience with enterprise planning tools (e.g., Workday Adaptive Planning).
• Strong presentation, storytelling, and demo skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead executive discovery and strategy with CFOs and finance leaders.
• Design and deliver tailored demonstrations for large, complex DI enterprises.
• Tell a value story linking outcomes to Workday planning and AI capabilities.
• Collaborate with Sales to shape opportunity strategy and demos.
• Travel up to 50% to engage with customers and partners.
