Job summary

Workday is seeking a Senior Solution Consultant – Planning to join our Planning Presales team in the United States. You will be a planning subject matter expert credible with CFOs and finance leadership, translating complex business problems into compelling value and solution stories.

You will guide customers across FP&A, workforce, and operational planning, delivering high-impact demonstrations of Workday Adaptive Planning and the broader Workday platform. Travel up to 50% as needed.

Qualifications

• Presales, consulting, or finance experience focused on planning, forecasting, or analytics.
• Ability to present to executive audiences (VP/C-level) and lead discovery.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise planning tools (e.g., Workday Adaptive Planning).
• Strong storytelling, demo, and narrative-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead executive discovery and strategy with CFOs and finance leaders.
• Design and deliver demonstrations for large DI enterprises across FP&A, workforce and operational planning.
• Tell value stories linking outcomes to Workday planning and AI capabilities.
• Position Workday as a trusted advisor with best practices in enterprise planning and performance management.
• Collaborate with Sales on qualification, discovery, demo strategy, and closing plans.
• Travel up to 50% to engage with customers and partners.
