Job summary

Workday is seeking a Senior Solution Consultant – Planning to join our Planning Presales team supporting large enterprise diversified industries. You will be a planning SME, credible with CFOs and finance leadership, translating complex problems into compelling vision, value, and solution stories.

You’ll guide customers across FP&A, workforce and operational planning, lead executive discovery, and deliver high-impact demonstrations showing how Workday Adaptive Planning and the broader Workday

Qualifications

• Significant presales, consulting, or finance experience focused on planning, forecasting, or analytics.
• Ability to engage and present to executive audiences (VP/C-level), especially in Finance.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise planning tools (e.g., Workday Adaptive Planning).
• Strong presentation and storytelling skills with energy and impact.
• Strong commercial acumen and selling instincts.
• Interest in AI and analytics and how it applies to planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead executive discovery and strategy with CFOs, finance leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Design and deliver tailored demonstrations for large DI enterprises across FP&A, workforce and operational planning.
• Tell a value story connecting outcomes to Workday planning and AI capabilities.
• Position Workday as a trusted advisor with enterprise planning best practices.
• Showcase AI, forecasting, and decision-making within Workday context.
• Collaborate with Sales on opportunity strategy, qualification, demos, and closing plans.
• Support RFP/RFI responses, value assessments, workshops, and executive briefings.
• Represent Workday at events, webinars, and conferences with planning insights.
• Mentor peers on demo best practices and industry trends.
• Travel up to 50% as needed.
