Zusammenfassung

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a senior Piping Engineer to provide technical direction on projects involving piping systems and related analyses. The role requires expertise in vibration, hydraulics, and code compliance with ASME B31.1 and B&PV Section III.

Hybrid in-office schedule with collaboration across disciplines and client liaison responsibilities. P.E. license and 10+ years of experience are required, with ABET-accredited degree.

Qualifikationen

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Aerospace, or Structural/Civil Engineering, ABET-accredited.
• P.E. license required.
• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Extensive knowledge of ASME B31.1 and ASME B&PV Section III piping codes.
• Knowledge of pipe supporting elements and piping products.

Aufgaben

• Provide senior level technical direction and supervision to project team in piping discipline.
• Coordinate activities between disciplines and manage task schedules/budgets to meet project requirements.
• Act as technical liaison with client and lead technical resource on projects.
• Review and approve complex calculations and designs; provide guidance to team.
• Prepare and review major system, installation, and material specifications; schedule vendor submittals.
