Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Senior Piping Engineer to join our Nuclear Power Group. You will perform advanced piping analysis and engineering tasks, ensuring compliance with ASME B31.1, BPV Section III, and related codes.

The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience and strong communication skills in a hybrid work environment with in-office days three per week. You will prepare and review calculations, system designs, and technical documentation, including P&IDs, master diagrams, and

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering with ABET accreditation.
• 5+ years of relevant piping engineering experience.
• Knowledge of ASME B31.1 and BPV Section III piping codes.
• Experience with pipe supports, piping products, and their applications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review complex calculations and designs for piping systems.
• Review simple and develop complex system designs.
• Prepare design input for drawings (P&IDs, Master Diagrams) and review input.
• Prepare equipment and material specifications and bid evaluations.
• Develop budgets, schedules, and project work plans; manage timelines.
