Job summary

Sargent & Lundy’s Nuclear Power Group seeks a senior Piping Engineer to lead analyses and reviews of piping systems per ASME codes. You will prepare complex calculations, review designs, and produce input for drawings and equipment specifications.

Hybrid work with in-office three days per week. Requires BS/MS in engineering, 5+ years experience, and strong communication skills. U.S. work authorization required; sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in mechanical/structural engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant piping experience.
• Knowledge of ASME B31.1 and BPV Section III piping codes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review complex piping calculations and designs.
• Review system/structural designs and prepare complex designs.
• Prepare design input for drawings (P&IDs, Master Diagrams).
• Prepare equipment and material specifications.
• Prepare bid evaluations and economic calculations.
• Develop budgets, schedules, and work plans; monitor progress.
