Job summary

Relation Insurance Inc. in Dedham, MA seeks a Personal Lines Service Leader to oversee the department and coach account managers and client service staff.

In this role, you will supervise, mentor, lead meetings, participate in hiring, and partner with HR to address performance concerns while driving service excellence and cross-sell opportunities to retain clients. You will stay updated on industry information, new products, legislation, and technology, and you will adopt innovative solutions

Qualifications

• Personal Lines or P&C license required; designations such as CISR/CIC/CPCU preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of account management experience in the insurance industry focusing on personal lines.
• Four-year degree preferred.
• Experience with EPIC and AMS360 is strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership, analytical and presentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel and Word emphasis.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the department and mentor staff.
• Lead team meetings and 1:1s for development and goals.
• Coordinate with Team Leaders and provide feedback as needed.
• Conduct annual performance reviews and ongoing feedback.
• Participate in hiring and onboarding; coordinate training and risk control.
• Train staff on duties, standards, and policies.
• Address performance concerns with HR and leadership.
• Support process improvements and technology adoption, including AI.
• Assist with account maintenance and resolve escalated client issues.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities to support client retention.
• Ensure timelines and metrics are met.
