Job summary

Relation Insurance Services is seeking a Personal Lines Service Leader to oversee the department, mentor staff, and coordinate with the Leadership team. The role emphasizes coaching, performance reviews, and ensuring top-tier client service.

You will guide hiring, training, and process improvements, leverage AI tools, manage time and attendance, and collaborate with carriers and underwriters to address complex coverage questions.

Qualifications

• Personal Lines or Property & Casualty license from domicile state.
• 8+ years account management experience in insurance with a focus on personal lines.
• Four-year degree preferred.
• Experience using EPIC and AMS360.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word).
• Knowledge of insurance markets, products, services, and underwriting procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the department; mentors and resources.
• Leads team meetings and 1:1s for development and goal alignment.
• Collaborates with Team Leaders; provides feedback and information.
• Conducts annual performance reviews and goal setting.
• Participates in hiring and onboarding; coordinates resources.
• Trains staff on duties, standards, policies; audits training.
• Addresses performance concerns with HR when needed.
• Implements process improvements; adopts AI solutions in service.
• Supports client relationships and cross-sell opportunities.
• Ensures timelines and metrics are met.
