Job summary

Relation Insurance Services is seeking a Personal Lines Service Leader in Owings Mills, MD. You will oversee the Personal Lines department, mentor Leads and Account Managers, and drive performance through coaching, training and process improvements.

This role requires a P&C license, 8+ years in account management, and strong leadership abilities. Proficiency with EPIC and AMS360, plus excellent communication, is essential for success in delivering top-tier client service.

Qualifications

• Personal Lines license (P&C) required and must be maintained.
• 8+ years of account management experience in insurance.
• Four-year degree preferred.
• Experience using EPIC and AMS360 strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and mathematical abilities.
• PowerPoint and presentation skills for in-person and virtual sessions.
• Detailed knowledge of personal lines, underwriting and insurance markets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; client relationship ability.
• Proficient in Excel and Word; comfortable with new software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Personal Lines department and mentor leads.
• Lead team meetings and 1:1s for development and goals.
• Coordinate with Team Leaders; provide feedback and information.
• Conduct annual performance reviews and coaching.
• Involve in hiring; coordinate training, broking, risk control.
• Train staff on duties, policies, standards; ensure compliance.
• Address performance concerns with HR and leadership.
• Identify process improvements and adopt AI solutions.
• Manage time/attendance approval; support carrier questions.
• Assist with account maintenance and cross-sell opportunities.
