Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to replace a resigning position and ensure timely, accurate payroll across multiple states. You will handle weekly and semi-monthly payroll, audits, and respond to employee inquiries while maintaining confidentiality.

The role requires 3–5 years in payroll/finance, HS diploma/GED, and preference for Spanish bilingualism. Competitive hourly compensation with comprehensive benefits and potential bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED required.
• 3+ years of experience in payroll and/or finance, accounting, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Inputs data to payroll systems for weekly and semi-monthly payrolls and runs pre-payroll audit reports.
• Completes payroll processing: wage/overtime calculations, deductions, off-cycle payments, overpayments and repayment agreements.
• Responds to payroll questions from employees and management, ensuring policy compliance.
• Audits earnings/deductions, reviews system outputs, and prepares special reports for management.
• Performs general admin tasks: phones, reports, records, case management with tracking.
• Audits and processes payroll info submitted by field for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintains confidentiality of employee and company data.
• Processes payroll for 5,000–7,000 employees across multiple states.
