Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to replace a resigning employee. You will handle weekly and semi-monthly payroll, ensure accuracy, and maintain compliance across multiple states.

The role requires 3–5 years of payroll experience, multi-state processing, and strong communication. Bilingual Spanish is preferred. This is an hourly position with full-time responsibilities and benefits.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of payroll and/or finance experience required.
• Multi-state payroll processing experience required.
• FPC and/or CPP designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inputs data to payroll systems for weekly and semi-monthly payroll, updating earnings and deductions.
• Computes wages, overtime, deductions, and off-cycle payments; prepares repayment agreements for overpayments.
• Responds to payroll queries from employees and management via email and phone; ensures policy compliance.
• Audits earnings and deductions and prepares management reports as needed.
• Performs general administrative tasks and tracks information using a case management tool.
• Audits and processes payroll information submitted by the field for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintains confidentiality of employee and company data.
• Processes payroll for 5,000–7,000 employees across multiple states.
