Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to replace a resigning employee and maintain accurate, timely payroll processing across multiple states. This role supports critical payroll operations and ensures data confidentiality.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of multi-state payroll experience, a HS diploma, and knowledge of payroll policies. This is an hourly, full-time position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in payroll or related field.
• Multi-state payroll processing experience required.
• FPC and/or CPP designation preferred.
• HS diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Inputs data to payroll systems to prepare weekly and semi-monthly payrolls and updates earnings/deductions.
• Runs pre-payroll audit reports to ensure accuracy of payroll output.
• Computes wages, overtime, deductions, and off‑cycle payments; handles overpayments and repayments.
• Answers payroll questions from employees and management; ensures policy compliance.
• Audits earnings/deductions totals and prepares management reports.
• Maintains confidentiality of employee and company data.
• Processes payroll for approximately 5,000–7,000 employees across multiple states.
