Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to replace a resigning team member. The role supports weekly and semi-monthly payroll processing, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy across multiple states.

You will audit, adjust, and finalize payroll while handling inquiries from employees and management. The position requires 3–5 years in payroll/finance, multi-state processing, and a strong emphasis on confidentiality and customer service. Bilingual Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of payroll/finance experience.
• Multi-state payroll processing experience.
• FPC/CPP designation preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Inputs data to payroll systems to prepare weekly and semi-monthly payroll, updating earnings and deductions.
• Runs pre-payroll audit reports to ensure accuracy of payroll output.
• Computes wage/overtime, records deductions, and processes off-cycle payments.
• Answers payroll questions from employees and management via phone and email.
• Audits earnings and deductions totals and prepares reports for management.
• Maintains confidentiality of employee and company data.
• Processes payroll for 5,000 to 7,000 employees across multiple states.
