JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Payments Sales Senior Associate in Plano, TX to drive revenue for the SMB Payments portfolio. You will cultivate opportunities, manage a fast-paced sales cycle, and partner with branches and digital channels to close new business and expand existing relationships.

In this role you will present Chase payment solutions, collaborate with risk and compliance, and navigate a complex regulatory environment while meeting monthly production goals.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of merchant services industry, products and services; understanding of diverse business types.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with all levels; proficient in MS Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Proven ability to build relationships with clients and internal partners to influence outcomes.
• Uses sound judgment to offer comprehensive and customized solutions meeting client needs.
• Balance client needs with firm risks and interests.
• Disciplined time management to achieve business objectives and follow through.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate new business opportunities from inbound leads, referrals, and marketing programs.
• Identify and source client opportunities through networks to pursue new business for payment solutions.
• Execute a short sales cycle with high velocity of leads.
• Communicate with key decision-makers to evaluate needs and propose solutions.
• Conduct calls with prospects and existing clients to align solutions with requirements.
• Maintain sales records and generate required reports.
• Negotiate pricing to close business while protecting profitability.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation and ramp-up.
• Adhere to risk controls and compliance during client interactions.
• Protect the firm by following AML/KYC regulations.
