LOWCOUNTRY UROLOGY CLINICS, P.A. is seeking a Patient Service Representative II to ensure exceptional patient service and smooth clerical workflow in a medical office setting.

The role involves greeting patients, registering new patients, collecting payments, scheduling visits, and coordinating referrals as needed. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of customer service experience, preferably in healthcare, with proficiency in EMR systems and CPT/ICD-10 familiarity.

Formación

• Minimum 2-3 years of customer service experience, preferably in a medical office.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Experience with CPT/ ICD-10 coding is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Answer phones, greet patients/visitors, and schedule appointments.
• Register new patients and update demographics; collect co-payments and balances.
• Process referrals and authorizations as required.
• Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality.
• Support billing with charge entries within 48 hours.
