Job summary

MidLantic Urology is seeking a Patient Service Representative II to deliver exceptional front-office care, manage patient flow, and support billing and scheduling. You will greet patients, collect balances, and coordinate referrals with clinical staff.

The role requires 2–3 years of customer service, basic CPT/ ICD-10 knowledge, and proficiency with EMR and Microsoft Office. On-site position with emphasis on accuracy and PHI confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of customer service experience.
• Experience in a medical office, urology preferred.
• Basic knowledge of CPT coding and ICD-10 coding preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet patients/visitors professionally.
• Register new patients and update demographics.
• Collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and PHI security.
• Assist billing by completing charge entries within 48 hours.
