LOWCOUNTRY UROLOGY CLINICS, P.A. seeks a Patient Service Representative I to deliver exemplary customer service by phone or in person. The role coordinates clerical tasks, greets patients, schedules appointments, and guides patients through registration, payments, and records handling to ensure a seamless experience between clerical and clinical staff.

The incumbent will verify insurance, collect co-pays, and maintain accurate medical records while upholding confidentiality and HIPAA standards.

Formación

• Microsoft Office and EMR familiarity required.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills are essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Ability to protect patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Answer phones and greet patients and visitors.
• Register patients and update demographics, collect payments.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate intake/outtake processes.
• Verify insurance information and obtain referrals when required.
• Maintain front desk area and stocked supplies.
• Protect PHI and ensure secure handling of records.
