LOWCOUNTRY UROLOGY CLINICS, P.A. seeks a Patient Service Representative I to deliver exceptional patient service by phone or in person. You will manage front desk duties, register patients, verify insurance, collect co-pays, and coordinate referrals and appointments with clinical staff.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in customer service within a medical setting, familiarity with CPT/ICD-10 coding, and strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college coursework preferred.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience required.
• Medical office experience preferred, urology a plus.
• Basic CPT/ICD-10 knowledge preferred.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and visitors in person or by phone.
• Maintain a clean, organized front desk area.
• Register patients and update demographics, verify insurance, and collect co-pays.
• Collect outstanding balances and process payments.
• Obtain referrals and authorizations when required.
• Scan and file medical records into the EMR.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow with staff.
• Respond to patient inquiries in a courteous manner.
• Ensure confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
